Your journey, your growth

Hello and welcome! Whether you’re working through feelings of loss, navigating family dynamics, or seeking to process past experiences, I’m here to walk alongside you. I believe that healing is a deeply personal process, and my goal is to create a supportive space where you can unpack your story, explore your emotions, and embrace your authentic self.

I’m here to listen, guide, and support you in uncovering the resilience and strength you already have within.

With a warm, nurturing approach, I bring a unique blend of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to your needs. My aim is to ensure therapy is not only effective but also meaningful and transformative—so that you can experience genuine growth in a way that feels right for you.

About Me

I’m Dr. Ashley Welch—a licensed clinical psychologist, mother, and strong believer in the power of compassion to transform lives. Since earning my doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I’ve dedicated myself to helping individuals heal emotional wounds and reclaim a sense of wholeness. I specialize in issues like codependency, relationship challenges, anxiety, and childhood trauma, but my training equips me to work with a wide range of concerns—from everyday stress to more complex mental health struggles.

Therapy isn’t just about resolving symptoms; it’s about reconnecting with the parts of you that have been overlooked or hurt, and offering them genuine care and understanding.

Drawing on my background in attachment theory and psychodynamic work, I focus on how formative experiences continue to shape our feelings and behaviors in the present. By approaching your story with empathy and curiosity, I aim to help you break free from unhelpful cycles and step into a more authentic version of yourself.

Above all, I strive to bring warmth and genuine empathy to each session. I believe that a trusting, supportive relationship is at the heart of effective therapy. My role is to meet you where you are, guide you toward greater self-awareness, and collaborate with you on practical steps that move you closer to the life you want.

My Approach

I believe in tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs. Whether we’re delving into inner child work, using relational and attachment-based techniques, or drawing from cognitive and narrative therapy, I strive to create a collaborative, dynamic environment where you feel heard and validated. We’ll look at how your early experiences might have left hidden marks on your relationships, self-esteem, or sense of safety—and use that insight to foster genuine change in your daily life.

Areas of Focus:

  • Teen & Family Support: Enhancing communication, emotional regulation, and coping strategies.
  • Relationship Issues & Codependency: Breaking old patterns, improving communication, and nurturing healthy boundaries.
  • Anxiety & Stress: Developing effective coping skills to manage overwhelm, worry, and rumination.
  • Inner Child & Attachment Work: Healing past trauma, understanding how childhood shapes today’s feelings and relationships.
  • Other Specialties: ADHD, Autism, trauma and PTSD, depression, life transitions, and more.
